1. Based on Matthew 6:19-24, why do you think Jesus emphasizes the importance of storing up treasures in heaven instead of on earth? What does this mean for how we perceive material wealth?

2. Reflect on Matthew 6:21, where Jesus says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” When you look at your own credit card statement, what does it reveal to you about your values?

3. Jesus uses the analogy of the eye as the lamp of the body in Matthew 6:22-23. What do you think He means by having a healthy eye, and how might this affect our relationship with material wealth?

3. What are your “spiritual eyes” like? Do they tend to see needs and respond, or pass by without noticing?
