1. When we read Colossians 3:18–21, how is the Bible’s view of submission for wives different from how our culture often sees it? And what does the message to husbands mean?

2. In Colossians 3:21, Paul tells dads not to provoke their kids — why do you think that matters, and how can we strike a healthy balance between discipline and encouragement in parenting?

3. As men, what does it look like practically to be tuned into your marriage and your kids based on these simple verses?

1. Can you think of a time when you really needed peace in your family or tried to bring it? How do you try to be a blessing to your family day to day?

2. What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind for your kids or grandkids? What are you doing now to move in that direction with Jesus at the center?
