Open The Scriptures
1. In Colossians 3:22–25, Paul says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” What do you think he’s getting at? How could that shift how we think about our jobs, chores, or responsibilities?
2. Paul tells masters in Colossians 4:1 to treat their servants justly and fairly. How does that reflect what Jesus teaches about leadership? What can today’s bosses, coaches, teachers—or any of us with influence—take from that?
3. The sermon mentioned Paul’s point that in Christ there’s no slave or free. How do you see that idea playing out in how Paul talks to both bondservants and masters? What does that mean for how we see people and relationships today?
4. Colossians 4:2–4 encourages us to stay devoted to prayer. How does that kind of prayer help us get ready for what God wants to do through us? What role does prayer play in how we love and serve people around us?
5. In Colossians 4:5, Paul says, “Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.” What do you think it means to walk in wisdom toward people who don’t share your faith? What might that look like in real life—in conversations, friendships, or at work?

1. We talked about breaking down the wall between “church stuff” and “everything else.” What would it look like to bring your faith more into your everyday life—like at work, school, or in your neighborhood?
2. Think about someone in your life who believes differently than you. What would it look like to have grace-filled, respectful conversations with them—while still pointing to Jesus?
3. Instead of just doing mission projects, we’re called to be the mission. What’s one simple way you could live out your faith more intentionally this week—at home, work, or around your community?
4. Paul encourages us to walk in wisdom toward outsiders. Think about the nonbelievers in your life—neighbors, coworkers, friends. How can you be thoughtful and intentional in the way you live and speak around them so that you reflect Jesus well?
5. Who in your life do you want to pray for with whom you can share Jesus? What also do you need to “remain steadfast in prayer” for this week?
