- The Psalm starts in praise and moves quickly to confession of the sins of “we and our fathers”. What are past sins from history that we have seen that affect us today?
- This psalm starts and ends with praise. What do you think that tells us about the role of worship in a person’s life?
- Psalm 106:13 says, “They soon forgot his works.” Can you think of other moments in the Bible when people forgot what God had done—and what happened because of it? How might those stories serve as warnings or reminders for us today?
- In verse 9, we read that God “rebuked the Red Sea and it became dry.” What does that powerful image stir up for you, especially when you think about God’s ability to redeem and rescue?
