What is Peter seeking to communicate about Jesus? 3. Matthew 28:16-20 is often called “the great commission” passage. What do you notice about the main calling of Jesus’ followers? Open your Lives 1. Where in your everyday routine (home, work, school, neighborhood) could you start living as someone “sent” by the King, as the sermon described? 2. What doubts or questions do you tend to voice when God seems silent, like the 400 years after Malachi? How do those doubts affect your faith? 3. How might it change the way we respond to suffering if we held both ideas the sermon taught: 1) that the kingdom breaks in now with signs, and 2) that suffering is part of the way God brings victory? 4. What is one step you can take this week to “be with Jesus”? |
