ABOUT US
Our Story
In 2017, two churches, Bridgeway Community Church (est 2014) and Bear Creek EPC (est 1954), began conversations about the possibility of joining together. We sought professional guidance in navigating the compatibility of the two churches in terms of vision, mission and theology. After much prayer and pursuit of wise counsel, it became evident that merging into one church would effectively meet the needs of both congregations, as well as open new doors to minister to the Bear Creek community. In 2018, both churches unanimously voted to merge together into one church family, and The Bridge Church at Bear Creek was born! Setting aside minor differences and preferences, we have united together around a central mission to “Make Much of Jesus.” Since the merger, God has faithfully grown our church family in amazing ways.

Our Mission
The Bridge Church at Bear Creek exists to Make Much of Jesus. We do that by making disciples who know the gospel, live the gospel and advance the gospel.
Our Vision
We strive to be a vibrant worshipping community committed to seeing people of all ages become everything God designed them to be and seeing their community become everything God desires it to be.
Culture Statement
We strive to be a family of missionary-servants. We are adopted sons and daughters of God who are sent into the world to serve as Christ served. We value the priority of people over programs, and seek to bring the Gospel to bear in all aspects of our ministry. We are unashamedly relational in our approach to ministry. We believe the Gospel is brought to bear primarily through the context of relationship.

Our team exists to Make Much of Jesus! We do this by raising up disciples of Jesus who know, live and advance the gospel.
