Open the Scriptures:

1. In Colossians 3:12–17, Paul talks about putting on new clothes as God’s people. What specific attitudes or character traits does he list? How are these different from the “old clothes” we used to wear?

2. Paul brings up forgiveness in this passage. How does he connect our ability to forgive with the way Jesus has forgiven us?

3. Paul says to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. What do you think it means for peace to act like a “ref” in our lives, and how could that change the way we relate to others?

4. The message mentioned how love and trust are closely connected in verse 14. How does “putting on love” help hold everything else together?

Open Your Lives:

1. Paul lists a bunch of Christlike qualities like kindness, compassion, and humility. Which of these do you find hardest to live out right now, and what’s one small step you could take to grow in that area?

2. Can you think of a time when you had to forgive someone—or when someone forgave you? What happened, and how did that affect your relationship?

3. Colossians 3:17 reminds us that everything we say and do can be an act of worship. What are some everyday areas of your life—like work, school, chores, conversations—where you want to be more intentional about honoring Jesus?

4. Gratitude can be tough, especially when things aren’t going well. What are some simple, real-life ways you can practice being thankful—even when life is hard?
