1. In looking at the calling of the first disciples in John 1 and Matthew 4, what stands out to you about the way Jesus invites people to follow Him? How does this reflect His approach to discipleship?

2. Reflect on the question Jesus poses to the disciples, “What are you seeking?” How does this question challenge us to evaluate our own spiritual desires and priorities?

3. Observe the interaction between Philip and Nathanael in John 1. How does the phrase “Come and see” serve as an invitation to explore faith, and how might it address skepticism?

1. Pondering Jesus’ message of “Come and follow Me”, what do you think that could look like practically in your life today?

2. Jesus offers each of us a new identity and mission. Considering your personal walk with Christ, how has following Jesus reshaped your identity and purpose?

3. Who are the “skeptics” (see John 1 passage) and “Sinners” (see Matt. 9:9-13) in your life that you can spend time with and invite to follow Jesus?

4. Who are the difficult/disliked people or group of people in your life you need to extend the mercy of Jesus toward?
