Read the Psalm slowly. What convicts you the most from this Psalm?

What tends to happen in the human heart when pride creeps in? (What are the effects and relational costs?)

How can we grow in contentment (ie: staying in our lane)?

How can you practice this wisdom: “I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.”

In what areas of my life am I driven by ambition? Are there any aspects where this ambition might be leading me away from humility and trust in God?

Two aspects of humility are “willing to lose status” and “gentle”. Have you witnessed an example of humility like this? How can we grow a humble heart?

In what ways do pride and self-exaltation show up in my thoughts, words, or actions? How can I shift my focus from self-promotion to serving others?

In a world obsessed with fame and pride, discuss how we can humbly follow Jesus? (How can we practice: “Count others more significant than yourselves” this week?)
